Origin Home Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team as we make our way into Manatee County. You will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and various physical conditions. We are looking for a compassionate professional who is committed to providing high-quality care and improving the overall well-being of our patients.
PT Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional abilities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout the course of treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
PT Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in physical therapy.
- Familiarity with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders.
PTA Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting assessments and gathering relevant patient information.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families.
PTA Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
- CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and exercise programs.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
