What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Team Member position at Origin Coffee Co.?
Origin Coffee in Lake Placid is seeking full or part time kitchen staff to join our team. Previous basic cooking experience in a restaurant environment is required. If you are reliable, motivated, have a positive attitude, good customer service skills and the ability to work as part of a team we welcome you to apply. Shifts generally run from 7am-2:30pm. Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to instruction and recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Support the kitchen team in catering events and daily restaurant operations
- Operate kitchen equipment
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Experience:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food industry setting
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with knife skills and kitchen tools
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
