What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Oriana?
Oriana is the latest venture from Chef Andy Quinn and Sommelier Cedric Nicaise, an evolution of The Noortwyck and a new expression of their shared vision. The restaurant is slated to open in late January or early February.

As a member of the bar team, we expect you to guide guests through their dining experience; as well as control operations at the bar. You will be expected to know the house cocktails, techniques, food and wine programs, as well as having a thorough knowledge of classic cocktails, backbar spirits and dining service standards.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism creating a hospitable environment.
• Be able to anticipate guests' needs without being intrusive.
• Be able to guide by providing detailed knowledge of our food and beverage programs.
• Handle drink orders from the bar room as well as the dining room.
• Execute all drink orders to a high standard.
• Handle guest complaints and inquiries with grace and efficiency, knowing when to loop in the management team.
• Maintain the flow of service by communicating and working with the kitchen, beverage and management teams.
What we look for:
• Availability to work weekends.
• 2 years bartending in fine dining or upscale cocktails bars
• Basic understanding of classic cocktails and bartending techniques
• English fluency
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs
• Positive team-first attitude
