Position Overview
ORI is seeking a Senior Federal Sales Executive to lead strategic sales growth across Department of Defense, Intelligence, and Civilian agencies. This role will focus on identifying, capturing, and winning mission-critical contracts aligned to ORI’s core capabilities: data integration and preparation, data architecture, process automation, and data operationalization with generative and agentic AI.
The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of federal procurement, strong relationships within the DoD and Civilian community and the partner eco-system, and a proven track record of winning enterprise contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own strategic growth plans across a defined set of federal agencies
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with federal executives, program managers, and contracting officers
- Lead end-to-end business development and sales lifecycle:
- Market intelligence
- Capture strategy
- Solution shaping
- Proposal development
- Negotiation and award
- Partner with internal and partner teams to align offerings to mission needs
- Identify and pursue task orders under existing contract vehicles
- Track and manage pipeline using CRM tools; maintain accurate forecasting and reporting
- Represent ORI at industry events, agency briefings, and partner forums
- Collaborate with teaming partners to expand reach and capabilities
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience selling to the U.S. federal government, with emphasis on DoD and/or Civilian agencies
- Demonstrated success winning $1M contracts in federal services or technology sectors
- Deep understanding of federal acquisition process, contracting vehicles, and funding cycles
- Experience with data, analytics, digital modernization, or related capabilities
- Ability to collaborate across teams to shape winning proposals and differentiated value propositions
- Existing network within federal agencies, system integrators, and federal IT ecosystem
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven by outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing client relationships within DOD, Intel, and FedCiv
- Familiarity with Government-focused tools
- Secret Clearance
