The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence and achieve production targets.
🔹 Key Requirements
🎓 Academic Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./M.E.) or MBA from a recognized university approved by relevant regulatory authorities
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in an integrated clinker and cement plant
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles such as:
- Plant Head
- General Manager (GM)
- Deputy General Manager (DGM)
- Assistant General Manager (AGM)
- Process Head / Quality Control Head
- Strong hands-on experience in Rotary Kiln operations and VRM (Vertical Roller Mill) technology
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Cement manufacturing processes
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Automation and instrumentation
- Quality control systems
- Industry regulations and compliance standards
- Proven expertise in process optimization, production efficiency, and troubleshooting
- Good understanding of costing, budgeting, and cost control mechanisms
- Demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and achieve production targets
- Strategic mindset with focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork across departments
- Computer proficiency with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
