Location – High Hybrid

This is a hybrid role, which means that you will have the flexibility to work both onsite and at a distance. You will collaborate onsite at our Cashton, WI office for 4-8 days per month, and the rest of the time you can choose to work remotely or onsite.

Bonus – This position is eligible for a 3% annual incentive bonus based on cooperative and individual performance.

Summary Of Role

The IT Procurement Analyst leads and continuously improves the Cooperative’s IT procurement and technology asset management program. This role coordinates technology purchasing, renewals, vendor relationships, licensing, lifecycle planning, cost optimization, and budget support to ensure technology investments align with business needs and deliver strong value. This role also provides basic technical support and serves as a backup resource for the Service Desk during periods of high demand, planned absences, and staffing shortages.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • IT Procurement, Vendor Management, and Technology Lifecycle – 90% of time
  • Lead and improve the IT procurement and technology asset management program, including processes, controls, standards, documentation, metrics, and reporting.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to utilize AI and automation to improve procurement efficiency, vendor management, and technology asset administration.
  • Manage procurement for software, hardware, cloud services, licensing, subscriptions, domains, maintenance agreements, professional services, and other technology expenditures.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between IT, Accounting, business stakeholders, and technology vendors for procurement, renewals, budgeting inputs, and vendor-related activities.
  • Coordinate and participate in vendor negotiations, renewal discussions, and purchasing initiatives to optimize cost, service levels, contractual terms, and business value.
  • Manage annual true-ups, enterprise agreement renewals, contract renewals, maintenance agreements, subscriptions, and software assurance programs.
  • Lead technology renewal planning and lifecycle management to ensure hardware, software, maintenance, support, and subscription renewals are completed proactively.
  • Maintain centralized records for technology contracts, agreements, renewals, licensing, authorizations, amendments, correspondence, payment schedules, and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor, audit, and track licenses, subscriptions, contracts, maintenance agreements, warranties, and technology assets to support compliance and financial planning.
  • Review and communicate contractual requirements, risks, obligations, and changes with stakeholders, vendors, Accounting, Legal, and IT leadership as appropriate.
  • Develop agreement summaries, cost analyses, renewal forecasts, and recommendations to support purchasing, renewal, budgeting, and investment decisions.
  • Support and help mature third-party vendor management activities, including vendor onboarding support, documentation, periodic reviews, performance tracking, renewal planning, and coordination with risk, compliance, and contract stakeholders.
  • Create and process purchase orders (POs) in SAP for approved technology purchases and procurement requests submitted through ITSM.
  • Partner with IT Operations and Accounting to support annual IT budget development, technology spend planning, and renewal forecasting.
  • Support monthly IT budget scorecard reviews with Accounting and IT Leadership, including variance review and budget-related documentation.
  • IT Service Desk Support – 10% of time
  • Provide basic Service Desk support and technical assistance with hardware, software, and technology service requests as needed.
  • Serve as a backup Service Desk resource during periods of high-ticket volume, planned absences, staffing shortages, and business-critical support needs.

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

  • Travel to CROPP facilities and offsite events to provide technical and procurement-related support as needed.
  • Support technology projects, audits, and organizational initiatives aligned to IT procurement, asset management, vendor management, and operational objectives.
  • Maintain awareness of technology market trends, licensing models, vendor offerings, and procurement practices to identify improvement and cost optimization opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling financial, contractual, vendor, technology, and employee information.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills And Competencies

  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in procurement, purchasing, vendor management, contract administration, software licensing, IT operations, or a related technology field.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, software licensing, contract management, vendor relationship management, technology lifecycle practices, budgeting, and financial reporting preferred.
  • Experience supporting technology renewals, enterprise agreements, maintenance contracts, subscriptions, and vendor negotiations preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and summarize software license terms, contract requirements, renewal obligations, and vendor documentation.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft operating systems, Office products, and related business productivity tools; ITSM, procurement, contract, or asset management system experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain and work with confidential information.

Base salary wage range: $67,516.80 per year - $81,827.20 per year

This salary wage range is exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. If you are hired at CROPP, your final base salary wage compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role should expect to be at the lower end of the salary wage range and hiring at the maximum of the salary wage range is not typical.
