Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Administrative Assistant at our office in Santa Barbara, CA. The Administrative Assistant will support daily operations, oversee scheduling, manage communication, and ensure records are accurately maintained. Responsibilities include handling correspondence, , coordinating with team members, assisting in event planning, and providing basic administrative support to the management team to ensure the organization’s smooth functioning.
Qualifications
- Administrative skills including scheduling, record keeping, and managing office supplies
- Proficiency in communication, both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with staff and stakeholders
- Organizational skills, time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Experience with basic office software such as word processors, spreadsheets, and email platforms
- Commitment to sustainability and passion for community service and nutrition-focused initiatives
- Previous experience in administrative roles or nonprofit organizations is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or education in administration is beneficial
