Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime as required

Position Summary

Affinity Grow, Connecticut’s premier cannabis micro-cultivator, is hiring a Procurement and Logistics Specialist to support purchasing, vendor management, and delivery operations.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain operations who wants to take on more responsibility and grow into a long-term operations role.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Delivery Coordination

• Schedule and coordinate delivery drivers, routes, and shipments
• Prepare delivery manifests in compliance with state regulations
• Ensure on-time and accurate product deliveries
• Communicate with drivers, vendors, and internal teams

Procurement and Vendor Management

• Source and order supplies (e.g., packaging, containers, operational items)
• Maintain vendor relationships and monitor performance
• Use ERP systems and spreadsheets to track orders and materials

Cost Control and Process Improvement

• Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify cost savings
• Compare vendor pricing, lead times, and terms
• Support vendor negotiations and purchasing decisions
• Track spending and report insights to leadership

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, or operations
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must meet all legal and company-specific requirements to work in the cannabis industry
• Reliable transportation required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 55 pounds
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including occasional overtime

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Controller

What Success Looks Like

• Deliveries are consistently on time and well-coordinated
• Strong communication across logistics, vendors, and internal teams
• Clear visibility into purchasing activity, inventory levels, and vendor performance
• Measurable cost savings and improved procurement efficiency over time
