Job Title: Oracle ERP Business Systems Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid – Onsite a few days per week)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Business Systems Analyst to join our team in the Richmond, VA area. This hybrid role requires onsite presence several days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle ERP systems with a particular focus on data conversion and migration projects. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, and implement Oracle ERP solutions to support business objectives.
- Lead and support data migration and data conversion efforts for ERP implementations and upgrades.
- Gather business requirements, create functional specifications, and work with developers and technical staff to deliver solutions.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for enhancements and new implementations.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot system issues.
- Collaborate with business users, project managers, and IT staff to optimize ERP functionality and processes.
- Create detailed documentation including process flows, functional specifications, and training materials.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy throughout system migration and operational use.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably with a focus on Oracle ERP systems (E-Business Suite, Fusion/Cloud, etc.).
- Proven experience with ERP data migration/conversion projects.
- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules such as Financials, Supply Chain, Procurement, or HR.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with SQL, data mapping, and integration tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite/remote environment in Richmond, VA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with Oracle Cloud ERP implementations or upgrades.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid work model – onsite in Richmond, VA office several days per week.
