About the Role
This is a full-time (Monday - Friday) onsite role in our Greenwich, CT headquarters.
The Senior Finance Manager, Client Relations, is responsible for managing financial relationships with key clients, ensuring their financial needs are met, and fostering long-term partnerships.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented finance professional to serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients and vendors, representing ORENDA’s financial services with accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism. You’ll partner with a leadership team that values initiative, moves quickly, and empowers its people to make meaningful decisions. The work is highly visible, and the impact is immediate.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic financial partner to clients and internal teams, helping ensure programs are set up for long-term success. You’ll support leading brands across beauty, wellness, and consumer goods by overseeing financial communication, resolving day-to-day challenges, and providing guidance on both immediate needs and longer-term planning. The Senior Finance Manager, Client Relations, also works closely with teams across ORENDA—including Engineering/Product Development, Manufacturing, and Distribution—to align client expectations with operational execution and deliver a seamless, solutions-oriented experience.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage key client financial relationships and serve as a trusted liaison across all finance matters.
- Own the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, collections, payment posting, and reconciliations.
- Track budget, revenue, and margin performance; analyze variances and recommend corrective action.
- Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and account insights to clients and senior leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve billing issues, support client needs, and improve financial outcomes.
- Monitor AR aging, credit risk, and account health to reduce delinquency and protect cash flow.
- Strengthen financial controls, ensure compliance, and support audit readiness and reporting accuracy.
- Develop AR processes, KPIs, and best practices that align with company goals and client expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy in financial data management, contract administration, billing, and account reconciliation
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; adept at cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners
- Demonstrated relationship management expertise, building trust and credibility with clients, senior leadership, and stakeholders across all levels
- Confident facilitating client meetings and navigating sensitive financial matters with discretion and composure
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-visibility environments with the ability to execute under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Sound analytical and problem-solving judgment with the capacity to balance immediate operational needs alongside long-term strategic priorities
Financial Technical Skills
- Proficient in accounts payable/receivable processes, billing cycles, and invoice management across multiple client accounts
- Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis to support forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis
- Experience with ERP and accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and/or SAP for general ledger management, reporting, and financial workflows
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in finance, accounts receivable, client finance, or financial operations.
- Experience in consumer goods, beauty, wellness, manufacturing is preferred
- Strong knowledge of billing, collections, reconciliations, contract terms, credit risk, and financial reporting.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and serving as a primary financial point of contact.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with QuickBooks,
- Experience with ERP, accounting, invoicing, or financial reporting systems preferred.
