Orenda Health and Wellness is a nonprofit outpatient Internal Medicine practice dedicated to delivering compassionate, integrative, and patient centered healthcare in Sarasota, Florida. In addition to comprehensive internal medicine services, we provide walk in HIV and STI testing to expand access to essential community health resources.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing outpatient team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced nurse looking to build meaningful clinical experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate is patient focused, detail oriented, adaptable, and excited to work in an outpatient setting that values both clinical excellence and whole person care.
Responsibilities
- Obtain vital signs, perform patient intake, medication reconciliation, and triage
- Administer injections and immunizations
- Perform IV placement and support IV management
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
- Support HIV and STI testing services
- Follow clinical protocols and standing orders under the supervision of the Assistant Medical Director
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
- Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional care delivery
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Interest in outpatient medicine, preventive care, and integrative healthcare
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in outpatient, primary care, or community health settings
- Experience with IV placement, injections, and phlebotomy
- ·Familiarity with EMR systems

Schedule:
- 25 hours per week if W2
- 20 hours per week if 1099
- Flexible part time schedule
- Primarily day shifts
- Occasional nights and weekends for testing events (advance notice given)
- No overnight call

Compensation & Benefits:
- $29/hr.
