Swim instructors (ages 16 ):
Shifts available Mon-Thur 8:45am-12pm, Mon-Fri 3:45pm-6pm.
Typical/non-seasonal pay starts at $12.75-$15.30/hr depending on experience.
We are hiring swim instructors for our summer swim lessons (indoor and outdoor). Lessons will be starting June 1 and starting date will be varied between May 22nd to May 29th for training. We have different swim lessons options and are very accommodating towards preference in lessons
Swim Instructors must possess and maintain a current swim instructor training certificate or have knowledge of the appropriate methods of teaching swimming techniques and skills from beginning to advanced levels. Keeps records, prepares written reports, assists with special events and swim meets. Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be 16 years of age or older. Instructors must have the ability to communicate with people of all ages. Applicants must be in compliance with Recreation Department dress, personal appearance policy. Th successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and will be subject to random drug testing.
