What are the responsibilities and job description for the Climber position at Oregon Tree Professionals?
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for safely and efficiently climbing, pruning, and removing trees on residential and commercial properties and/or assisting in removal of debris.
- Properly prepare, maintain and safely operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear.
- Operates as part of a crew supporting the Crew Foreman.
- Ensure excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Climbing experience utilizing rope and saddle when pruning, knowledge of knots, chainsaw operation, brush staging and chipper operation required.
- Experience with Aerial Lifts required.
- Driver’s License required with clean driving record, CDL preferred.
- Experience with driving non-CDL trucks with trailers preferred.
- Experience with crew management, training, safety procedures is highly valuable.
