Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that parts meet the required quality standards and specifications. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our production processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The Inspector will utilize various measurement tools and quality systems to perform thorough inspections and analyses.
Duties
- Conduct quality inspections on incoming parts, in-process parts, and finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and Video Scopes to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports in accordance with quality systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality inspection or control within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding and measuring common GD&T symbols.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on inspection results.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
