Oregon State Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate Accounting team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurate payroll processing, system maintenance, and regulatory reporting. You’ll play a key part in ensuring compliance, supporting audits, and contributing to the financial health of the organization.

What You Will Need To Be Successful
Payroll & Accounting Expertise:
- Experience in payroll processing and accounting principles. Proficiency in payroll software (Dayforce preferred), Microsoft Excel, and general ledger systems. Familiarity with tax withholdings, 401k plans, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with auditors, examiners, and cross-functional teams. Experience coaching or mentoring others is a plus.
- Three to five years of accounting experience, with a focus on payroll. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls is preferred.
