What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Assistant position at Oregon School District?
Rome Corners Intermediate School (5-6th grade) is seeking a Education Assistant to join their team. We are looking for a dedicated professional to help our students grow and who is committed to educational equity. Duties for this position may include:
- Working one-on-one with students
- Working with small groups of students
- Supporting 6th grade math classrooms
- Assisting with lunch and recess duty Candidates must have:
- A firm appreciation of student differences and be able to work with varying skill levels
- Positive, strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strength in supporting 6th grade math & literacy
The ability to obtain a substitute teacher license is preferred. The Oregon School District is a growing district with 4000 students.
