Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Hillsboro, OR, for a Senior Safety Consultant. The individual in this role will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and providing training for employees. Additional tasks include contributing to process safety initiatives, analyzing workplace hazards, and promoting occupational health and safety measures throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Safety Engineering principles and best practices
- Expertise in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
- Experience in conducting and delivering Training related to safety and health
- Knowledge of Process Safety and ability to implement process safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze risk data effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; certifications in safety and health (e.g., CSP, CIH) are a plus
- Familiarity with state and federal safety regulations
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
