Oregon Cannabis Sales Associate

Oregon Roots is looking for an experienced Cannabis Sales Consultant who knows the Oregon market, understands how to build lasting dispensary relationships, and is motivated by growing sales and expanding a brand’s footprint.

We are an established, licensed Oregon cannabis producer and wholesaler with an active retail network and a busy sales operation. We’re looking for someone who can bring sales experience, industry relationships, and the drive to develop new business while growing existing accounts.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for developing and managing dispensary accounts while representing Oregon Roots in the market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Build strong relationships with dispensary owners, buyers, managers, and purchasing teams
• Develop new accounts and expand Oregon Roots' presence throughout the state
• Visit existing retail partners to secure orders, reorders, and additional product placements
• Identify new sales opportunities within current accounts
• Prospect and open new dispensary accounts
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with buyers
• Represent Oregon Roots professionally during dispensary visits and industry events
• Stay knowledgeable about our products, strains, pricing, and current inventory
• Understand competitive products and trends within the Oregon cannabis market
• Assist with promotions, product launches, and marketing initiatives
• Maintain organized sales activity, account information, and follow-up
• Work closely with our Sales & Strategy Manager to meet and exceed sales goals

Who We’re Looking For

We want an experienced salesperson who is comfortable owning their territory and developing business.

Cannabis outside sales experience is required.

The ideal candidate has:

• Proven outside sales experience within the Oregon cannabis industry
• Existing relationships with Oregon dispensary buyers and decision-makers
• A track record of developing new accounts and growing existing business
• Strong understanding of cannabis products, strains, brands, and consumer preferences
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• A self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented approach to sales
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• The ability to manage a sales territory independently
• A willingness to consistently follow up and go the extra mile for accounts

Please note: Budtending or dispensary counter-sales experience alone does not meet the outside-sales experience requirement for this position.
