What are the responsibilities and job description for the Canvasser - North Coast position at Oregon Right to Life?
Oregon Right to Life’s canvassers work at the lead and strategy of our political advocacy team to increase connection with voters in targeted districts in Oregon.
Canvassers help materialize our voter contact program. They work together, speaking directly with voters door-to-door.
Additional responsibilities
- Work at lead of a field director, contacting voters to achieve district voter contacts goals
- Set individual goals for voter contact and self-motivate to meet them
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with voters and team members
- Must have access to a smartphone
Desired qualifications
- Available to work in Columbia, Clatsop, and Tillamook counties
- Dedication to pro-life values
- Experience working or volunteering in door-to-door canvassing
- Familiarity with i360 or other grassroots platforms
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work both independently and on a team
- Ability to adapt quickly to accomplish changing goals
- Ability to master new skills quickly

Compensation and Benefits
Weekly pay
$18.00/hour, minimum 15 hrs/wk
Performance bonuses
Reimbursements for lodging & food, or travel stipends.
In-district travel reimbursements.
