General Studies Teacher

Position Type: 0.6 - 1.0 FTE

Oregon Outreach Inc. (OOI) is looking for a General Studies Teacher, with an emphasis in Science, to join our team at our Molalla campus for the 2026 - 2027 school year.

This is a teaching position supporting high school students in an alternative education setting. Our classrooms are small, our approach is personal, and our focus is on helping every student succeed—academically and beyond.

What you’ll do:

• Provide instruction in a variety of subjects (including your certification area)
• Teach through a mix of direct instruction, small groups, and one-on-one support
• Collaborate with the Site Lead/Teacher to develop interdisciplinary, problem-based curriculum that aligns with Common Core State Standards
• Differentiate instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
• Support students in setting and achieving post-secondary and employment goals
• Build strong, trusting relationships with students
• Assist the Site Lead /Teacher with curriculum planning and administrative duties

What we're looking for:

• Valid Oregon teaching license
• Strong adaptability skills, in both instructional strategies and working with students
• Comfortable teaching multiple subject areas
• Experience in alternative education is a plus
• Strong collaboration skills and a flexible, student-centered mindset
• Passion for equity, trauma-informed practices, and inclusive education
