The faculty member will join the myeloid malignancy team with the goal of expanding the basic, translational, and clinical research programs. The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine and include: drive and participate in the research mission of the university, as applied to patients with CML, Leukemia, myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN)/myelodysplatic syndrome (MDS), participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; The individual in this position will be a member of the Center for Hematologic Malignancies, a section of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology, Department of Medicine. The duties of this position support the mission, goals and objectives of OHSU and the University Hospitals and Clinics.

It is anticipated your job will be made up of the following components: Research, Clinical, Teaching, and Service.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- MD OR MD/PhD
- Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon
- Board certified in Internal Medicine
- Board eligible/certified in Hematology and/or oncology
Proven success working with multi-disciplinary teams, history of training focused on the care of leukemia patients, conducting research in hematologic malignancies, and success in obtaining extramural funds for clinical trials and/or basic science research.
