Help Children Learn, Grow, and Thrive Every Day What you will do: As a Classroom Aide, you’ll work alongside Teachers and Teacher Assistants to support preschool children in a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. You’ll play an important role in helping children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically while supporting families and classroom teams.
- Support teachers with classroom activities, projects, and learning experiences
- Help create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for children
- Engage with children through play, conversation, singing, reading, and hands-on activities
- Use positive guidance and redirection strategies
- Assist with classroom setup, organization, and rotating learning materials
- Supervise children indoors and outdoors to ensure safety at all times
- Participate in family-style meals and encourage social interaction
- Help children build confidence, independence, and emotional skills
- Assist with classroom cleaning and maintaining a sanitary environment
- Support classroom coverage during breaks, lunches, and absences
- Participate in emergency drills and safety procedures
- Collaborate with staff and families to support children’s success What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience with young children preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook Required Certifications: (Or ability to obtain after hire)
- CPR/First Aid Certification within 60 days
- Food Handler’s Card within 30 days
