The Oregon Garden Resort is looking for a Light & Display Installation Tech (Lead) to bring the Silverton Christmas Market to life. This isn’t your average job, it’s a chance to build something spectacular, work with a creative team, and make thousands of guests say “WOW” the moment they walk in.
What You’ll Do
- Be hands-on: install Christmas lights, décor, and special effects both indoors and outdoors.
- Lead a seasonal crew, teach, guide, and support them as you build something unforgettable.
- Troubleshoot and keep displays running smoothly (lights, cords, spider boxes, generators).
- Pitch in with light carpentry, painting, and repairs when needed.
- Make sure everything is safe, functional, and guest-ready every night.
- Oversee the safe breakdown and storage of displays after the season.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who loves working with their hands and isn’t afraid of heights, ladders, or weather.
- Basic electrical knowledge (bonus if you’ve worked with displays, events, or AV equipment).
- Leadership skills, you’ll be the “go-to” person for your crew.
- Problem solver with an eye for detail and safety.
- Reliable, motivated, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
