Animal Care Attendant
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Animal Care Attendant to join the team at Oregon Dog Rescue. This role involves providing compassionate care for dogs, maintaining a clean and safe environment, monitoring playgroups, walking dogs and cleaning-lots of cleaning!

Responsibilities
- Handling and caring for dogs
- Sanitizing and maintaining cleanliness of the facility
- Assisting with animal care activities such as cleaning enclosures, walking dogs, and administering basic care routines
- Maintaining a safe environment by following proper sanitation protocols and safety procedures
- Supporting team members in daily operations to ensure smooth facility management
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with dogs or in an animal care setting is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely and comfortably
- Capable of being on your feet for 5-6 hour shifts
- Strong team player with dependable work ethic
- Hardworking with attention to detail in cleaning and animal handling tasks
- Availability to work 2-4 days per week from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
