Summary Of Duties
A Bachelor's Degree in the human, social, behavioral or criminal sciences and two years human service, law enforcement or investigative experience;
OR
An Associate's Degree in the human, social, behavioral or criminal sciences and four years human service, law enforcement or investigative experience.
Three years professional level experience related to the position may substitute for the Bachelor's degree; 18 months for an Associates.

Summary Of Duties
- This position receives, screens and investigates reports concerning abuse, neglect and exploitation committed against older adults and adults with physical disabilities. Investigations occur in community-based long term care facilities and the community at large. Investigators will also provide plans of safety and prevention to mitigate current and/or future incidents of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Investigators make referrals and/or work with community partners as components of Adult Protective Services.
A Bachelor's Degree in the human, social, behavioral or criminal sciences and two years human service, law enforcement or investigative experience;
OR
An Associate's Degree in the human, social, behavioral or criminal sciences and four years human service, law enforcement or investigative experience.

Essential Attributes
- Experience working in investigations (i.e. civil, legal, criminal or abuse/neglect).
- Experience interviewing people to gather and verify information related to abuse, neglect and/or self-neglect.
- Experience with navigating multiple windows-based software applications including Microsoft applications and inputting data into those systems.
- Experience with written documentation and an ability to write detailed, analytical, concise reports
