Position Summary
Assists the Bus Driver in transporting children safely on the school bus. Ensures that children are transported in a healthy and educational environment and facilitate communication with staff and parents in regard to the children's needs and center activities.
Education And Experience Requirements
No prior education or experience is required for this position.
- Pay Grade 0 on Pay Scale “C”:Bus Assistant - E
Within 6 months from date of hire, must meet Oregon’s Early Learning Divisions requirements for a Teacher Aide II.
- Pay Grade 1 on Pay Scale “C”:Bus Assistant - CE
Meets Oregon’s Early Learning Divisions requirements for an Infant Toddler or Preschool Teacher.
