Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs, offering detailed product demos when appropriate
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories, to effectively educate customers
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and manage cash handling procedures
- Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Ensure proper merchandising and stocking of products on shelves to create an attractive shopping environment
- Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and organize displays to optimize product visibility
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely while maintaining professionalism
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments involving customer interaction
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
