Key Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and routine kitchen tasks.
- Wash, peel, cut, and organize ingredients as directed.
- Prepare ingredients and supplies for daily food service.
- Help assemble food orders according to kitchen instructions.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked workstations.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Clean counters, sinks, floors, and other assigned kitchen areas.
- Store ingredients and supplies according to food-safety procedures.
- Monitor kitchen supplies and communicate restocking needs.
- Assist cooks and other kitchen team members during busy service periods.
- Follow food-handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Support kitchen opening, closing, and routine cleaning duties.
- Work cooperatively with the kitchen and restaurant team to maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, restaurant, café, or food-service experience is helpful but not required.
