Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This leadership role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple teams and priorities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Lead internal and external project teams, including superintendents, project engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and ownership groups.
  • Develop and manage detailed project budgets, cost forecasts, and resource plans.
  • Maintain accurate project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
  • Manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, delays, and scope changes.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance across all project teams.
  • Mentor junior project team members and support professional development.

Qualifications:

  • 7–10 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering ground-up, interior, or renovation projects in sectors such as industrial, retail, medical, or office.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, project controls, contracts, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., ProjectSight, Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred. PMP or similar credentials a plus.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field required.
  • Extensive field or trade experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for highly qualified candidates.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to job sites regularly and walk active construction projects.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
