We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team providing therapeutic massage services at a local substance use recovery center. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping patients reduce stress, relieve muscle tension, and support their overall wellness during recovery.
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday & Friday
- 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (or until all scheduled clients have been been seen, typically no later than 7:00 PM)
- Approximately 9–12 hours per week
- No weekends
Responsibilities
- Provide professional therapeutic massage sessions in a safe, comfortable environment.
- Customize treatments based on each client's needs while working within your scope of practice.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized treatment room.
- Follow all facility policies, HIPAA guidelines, and infection control procedures.
- Maintain professional boundaries and provide compassionate, respectful care to all clients.
- Communicate professionally with clients and staff to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Massage Therapy License (required).
- Professional liability insurance (required).
- Experience in therapeutic or medical massage is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and non-judgmental.
