As an IT Specialist you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operation of our IT systems and provide technical support to our organization. This position will support day to day operations, manage client imaging, administer Active Directory/365 applications, provide help desk support and be a contributing member of IT projects. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technology, customer service oriented and results driven.
Key Responsibilities:
· Administration and support of Microsoft cloud services such as Azure, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, SharePoint, and Office 365.
· Configure, administer Active Directory, support of Windows 10/11 clients.
· Create and implement new GPO policies and improve AD/GPO infrastructure.
· Develop and maintain client PC images.
· Create and deploy software packages.
· Diagnose and resolve user-reported issues with workstations, laptops, VPN, systems, peripherals, and mobile devices.
· Troubleshoot software and third-party application issues.
· Provide wireless and wired LAN and internet support.
· Provide technical support for users onsite and remote.
· Installation and maintenance of IT equipment.
· Create and maintain documentation related to software configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
· Provide support for on-boarding and off-boarding new and departing employees.
· Basic system administration of Windows servers.
· Veeam backup administration and file restores.
· Maintain IT asset lists and ensures inventory levels are optimized.
· Propose, create, and maintain tools, documentation, and resources that add value to IT internal operations.
· Identify new processes, techniques, and procedures to upgrade and enhance services and user support.
· Certificate installation/management
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
· 5 years experience in an IT support environment.
· Experience with Active Directory (User Management/Administration/Group Policy, Security),
· Proficient with Office 365 administration of core services.
· Experience with PC image creation and software deployment.
· Proficient with PowerShell scripting.
· Knowledge in deploying, integrating, and managing and SSO/MFA solutions such as ADFS, Azure AD.
· Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS and IT security best practices.
· Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with end users possessing varying degrees of technical expertise.
· Ability to work independently, be self-motivated with minimal supervision, highly organized and able to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to lead and contribute to IT projects.
· Able to lift or move up to 30 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
