Sales / Account Executive National Security SectorAgentic AI Software DevelopmentWork from Home – Metro DC AreaTS/SCI Clearance Required@Orchard LLC is looking for a highly motivated Sales Executive, familiar with selling AI software solutions into the National Security marketplace. Our client is building the next generation of AI agents to power data integration and mission workflows for national security customers. As the National Security Sales Executive, you will play a hands-on role in driving the adoption of AI Agentic products across the National Security space. You will demonstrate deep experience navigating federal procurement, a strong network within government and industry, and a proven ability to sell emerging technology into complex, mission-critical environments. ResponsibilitiesExecute a comprehensive sales strategy targeting the broader national security ecosystem, focused on Agentic AI as it relates to data pipelines, data integration, and workflows. Manage the entire sales cycle, from discovery and demos to pilots and close, working in partnership with Sales Engineers.Drive growth through direct customer interaction and partner sales channels, including SI, VARs, and GWACs. Maintain accurate CRM data and forecasts to support visibility and planning.Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering to ensure alignment with customer requirements and federal standards (FedRAMP, NIST, CMMC). Representing the company at key industry events.Minimum QualificationsActive TS/SCI security clearance.Knowledge of, and deep interest in, Artificial Intelligence and Agentic AI in particular, automation platforms that help organizations move, validate, and orchestrate data. Demonstrated history of success in sales engineering, technical pre-sales, or solutions consulting - ideally selling software of data-focused solutions.Background in engineering, computer science, or data engineering - must be able to credibly engage technical stakeholders.Understanding of the acquisition process and mission environments, including DOD, DHS, Intelligence Communities, and other arms of the National Security infrastructure.Independent and self-motivated, willing to forge your own path with minimal oversight and supervision.Strong communication and storytelling skills - able to tailor complex technical content for varied audiences.Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable working in a fast-moving, small team environment where you’ll wear multiple hats.Compensation: The role is expected to be compensated through a combination of base salary and incentives, with on-target performance leading to approximately a 50/50 split between each component. The base salary will be in the range of $125-$165K and OTE in the range of $250–$320K.
