Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of craft cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring seamless transactions.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, wine pairings, and drink options to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Handle cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages during busy service periods, including special events like banquets or catering functions.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by engaging guests warmly, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism.
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly to promote a safe environment in both fine dining settings and lively nightclub atmospheres.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or catering environments with a strong background in food service and hospitality.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving protocols.
- Previous banquet experience or experience working in a food industry setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order processing.
- Experience working in a nightclub environment or brewing setting is an advantage but not required.
