to live their best lives.**Orchard Village is seeking a full-time
Special Education Teacher to join our team!**
Special Education Description
The Special Education Teacher is the case manager of a therapeutic,
transition day school for students with disabilities, ages 17 - 22. S/he
will develop curriculum, plan daily schedules, develop and implement
IEPs, and coordinate with the Social Worker and Teaching Assistants.
S/he must be creative and energetic to include both practical lessons
and life skills. Low teacher-to-student ratio. The job emphasizes
teaching life skills and independence, vocational skills, career
development, achieving goals, and community integrated activities. The
Program Focuses On The Four Components Of Transition Planning
Employment, Training, Education, and Independent Living.

Special Education Teacher Requirements
- BA Special Education, Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1)
