Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a PRN (pro re nata, as needed) basis in Kingsport, TN. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients, helping them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical and mental conditions to determine the need for occupational therapy services.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Tennessee.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Previous experience in occupational therapy preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis (PRN).
