Position Overview:
As a Cook, you’ll play an essential role in providing well-balanced, nutritious meals to our residents. You’ll be responsible for meal preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing and serving meals according to planned menus and dietary needs
Ensuring proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
Collaborating with the dietary team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
Monitoring inventory and assisting with food orders as needed
Qualifications:
Prior cooking experience required; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus
Ability to follow recipes and accommodate special dietary requirements
