Position Summary
The Housekeeping Aide helps create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by maintaining resident rooms and facility common areas in accordance with infection control and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and nursing stations according to assigned schedules and checklists.
Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and surface disinfection.
Restock supplies and promptly report equipment or maintenance needs.
Follow infection control, safety, and universal precautions at all times.
Provide courteous, respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and team members.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of long-term care/skilled nursing or housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies and perform repetitive tasks.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
