We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Client Service Representative(CSR) to join our dynamic team.Orchard Veterinary Hospital is under new ownership and we are looking to expand our hours and will be providing high quality and compassionate veterinary medical, preventative, and urgent care. The CSR will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, and assisting with administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:
Role Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets into the vet clinic or hospital.
- Check in the clients.
- Inform the veterinarian and assigned tech about the arrival of patients.
- Room clients and patients.
- Maintain, update, and file patients' charts and records.
- Answer phone calls and emails.
- Schedule appointments, consultations, and surgical procedures.
- Receive and process payments.
- Fill prescribed medications and explain their use if needed.
- Maintain the waiting room and front desk area and rooms clean and organized.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (veterinary setting preferred).
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer software and phone systems.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
- Passion for animals and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Salary Range: $22 to $28 per hour, based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
