Overview
Orchard Ridge Country Club
Is in need of an Assistant Golf Pro/Golf Shop Attendant, displaying and generating sales with the merchandise that fills the pro shop floor, along with helping with club events and tournaments. Primarily seeking a friendly face to greet members at check-in and help with merchandising products such as lululemon, FootJoy, Johnnie-O, YETI, etc. The golf course typically closes for the season around Thanksgiving Day.
Experience Required
PGA Associate is a plus
Essential Responsibilities
Responsible but not Limited to:
- Attracts and retains clients by consistently providing excellent customer service – Develops a strong professional network within club membership.
- Initiates return business by contacting club members for new merchandise and special events, through multiple forms of communication and social media.
- Adheres to Club and Pro Shop policies for procedures, returns, paperwork, and upholding standards.
- Assists membership with finding merchandise and/or processing merchandise.
- Proven ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Handling all facets of sales transactions including the operation of cash registers
- Support and assists in all golf programs, tournaments, and initiatives to enhance the customer experience, increase customer loyalty, and impact sales.
- Knowledgeable about service and product quality.
- Presents a professional, positive image that represents Orchard Ridge Country Club
- Operate the store consistently with the aligned club’s policies and procedures
