We are looking for a Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) Operations Director to provide strategic oversight, long-term planning, and overall day-to-day management of BHIS services at Orchard Place.
As the BHIS Operations Director, you will:
- Lead the develoment and execution of strategic plans for BHIS, aligning with the organization's overall goals and mission. Ensure that the BHIS program evolves to meet community needs, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and manage the BHIS budget, ensuring financial sustainability and responsible resource allocation. Monitor program productivity and revenue to meet budget assumptions. Oversee operational efficiency and implement measures to optimize performance.
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and leadership to the BHIS management team, including Supervisors, Team Leads, and Case Managers. Lead efforts to recruit, retain, and develop high-performing staff. Design training programs and leadership development pathways to ensure continuous improvement
- Drive collaboration between BHIS and other service areas to create a seamless continuum of care for clients. Serve as a key liaison between clinical teams, ensuring BHIS is fully integrated with other organizational services and community partners.
- Oversee compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies. Ensure BHIS meets accreditation and funding source requirements. Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Lead the development and implementation of new services and programs to address unmet community needs. Encourage innovation within the BHIS team and ensure alignment with evidence-based practices.
- Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and program development. Monitor staff performance metrics, outcomes, and client satisfaction to ensure program effectiveness. Develop outcome-based measures to motivate staff and improve client outcomes.
- Represent BHIS in executive-level meetings and external stakeholder engagements. Develop partnerships with external organizations to enhance the reach and effectiveness of BHIS programs. Serve as the face of BHIS in the community, advocating for the program's mission.
- Provide oversight during crisis situations, ensuring appropriate responses and staff support. Ensure staff are trained in crisis prevention and intervention.
- Chair or participate in key organizational committees, including those focused on operational and clinical transformation. Lead cross-functional initiatives that align with team-based care models and organizational priorities.

- Bachelor's degree in human services-related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in human services, including supervisor experience.
- Experience in program management and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large teams, developing innovative solutions, and executing strategic intiatives.
- Experience with budget management, program development, and high-level stakeholder engagement preferred.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to establish supportive supervisory relationship with team and embody the mission and values of Orchard Place.
