POSITION: 1.0 Principal Clerk Typist - (NY Helps)
Civil Service Full-time / 12 month
Initial Assignment : Curriculum Office Full-time / 12 Month 8.0 hrs/day - 5 days/week (Monday through Friday) 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Aniticipated Appointment: As soon as possible
- There is no civil service examination required for this position for the duration of the NY HELPS Program. Candidates must meet the minimum civil service qualifications for a NY HELPS appointment as follows:
- A) Possession of an Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business and two (2) years of experience in the maintaining of financial records; or:
- B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and four (4) years of experience in the compilation and maintenance of financial records; or:
- C) Eight (8) years of experience in the compilation and maintenance of financial records; or:
- D) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B) and (C).
- NOTE: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience will be pro-rated toward meeting full time experience requirements.
Hourly Rate: Per the OPSRPA Contract
