Duties
- Perform thorough physical examinations and detailed patient assessments to determine health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions across specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and behavioral health.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory testing, medical imaging, and other advanced tools; interpret results accurately for effective treatment planning.
- Provide specialized procedures including suturing, catheterizations.
- Engage in telehealth consultations to extend care access remotely while maintaining HIPAA compliance and ensuring high-quality virtual patient interactions.
- Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification to practice in the relevant state or region.
- Proven experience in Primary Care or Urgent Care.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding standards is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to perform complex procedures like venipuncture, phlebotomy, and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to work with diverse populations including pediatric patients, seniors , individuals with developmental disabilities or complex medical needs.
