Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including waste removal, window washing, and deep cleaning of high-touch surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities by restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Utilize custodial experience to ensure all cleaning protocols meet health and safety standards
- Assist with light maintenance duties such as minor repairs or painting when necessary
- Follow established safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
Qualifications
- Candidates must successfully pass a full background investigation
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, buffing, and general facilities maintenance
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
