Position Overview:
We are a growing private mental health practice seeking a Program Director (LMSW SiFi) to support clinical services, supervision, and program coordination. This role is ideal for a New York State LMSW with at least two years of clinical experience who is interested in leadership, mentorship, and contributing to practice growth through community partnerships and contracts.
This is a hybrid position combining clinical work, supervision, and administrative leadership in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Orchard Blue Counseling Services (OBC) is a Black, Woman owned and led private mental health practice, based in New York. OBC specializes in child and adolescent psychotherapy while serving parents and adults.
OBC provides individual therapy, family therapy and parent coaching along with workshops and professional development services. Our therapy services are available in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, while other wellness services are offered nationwide.
As a NYS contractor and certified vendor for NYC's Department of Education , Orchard Blue Counseling Services provides essential school based counseling, consultations and workshops to students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services
- Provide direct clinical services, including individual, family, and group therapy.
- Maintain a consistent and ethically appropriate caseload.
- Conduct client consultations and intake assessments.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
Supervision & Support
- Provide supervision to graduate-level social work interns, and task supervision to graduate-level mental health interns.
- Support onboarding, training, and professional development of clinical staff.
- Assist with quality assurance, documentation review, and clinical best practices.
Program Coordination & Leadership Collaboration
- Support coordination of clinical programs and service delivery workflows.
- Collaborate with practice leadership on policy development and operational improvements.
- Track clinical outcomes and support continuous quality improvement efforts.
Outreach, Marketing & Contract Development
- Participate in outreach and marketing initiatives to increase practice visibility.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, community organizations, and referral sources.
- Support the acquisition of external service contracts, workshops, and consultation opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work.
- Active New York State LMSW license.
- Must have a Certificate in Seminar in Field Instruction (SiFi)
- Minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Experience supervising or mentoring students.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.
- Must be willing to travel within Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and Manhattan for contractual work.
- Must be willing to work some days until 8pm, Mon-Thur
