What are the responsibilities and job description for the Morning Mixer, Sanitation Position position at Orca Beverage Inc.?
Soda Company seeking individual that can lift, sanitize beverage equipment, batch mix soda runs daily. Mechanical skill will be a plus.
JOB DUTIES:
- Weigh, measure bulk ingredients to pour into mixing tank, including 50lbs sugar bags
- Read, interpret written instructions and raw materials on batch sheet
- Stage and verify ingredients for blending
- Clean In Place (CIP) of mixing tanks, Sanitation includes following batch instructions for cleaning solutions and water flushing
- Properly complete batch sheet documentation
- Adherence to GMPs, SOPs and OSHA guidelines
- Basic troubleshooting ability
This position reports to Production Manager and requires that daily batch shades are completed and cross checked. Position also performs and maintains batch quality duties and recording of specifications.
SHIFT AVAILABLE:
- Start time 3:30 AM to 4:00 AM, Monday-Friday, 8 Hours
REQUIREMENTS:
- Punctual and Reliable
- Strong ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Good mathematical ability
- 1 yr experience in food manufacturing preferred (or batch mixing in baking/brewing/wine industries)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow safe practices and procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Physical ability to climb stairs
- Ability to stand for entire shift
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
