Job Description
We are seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to join our team at Dura-Line, an Orbia business. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily operations, including staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of daily operations such as staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence
- Hold the team accountable for following established procedures and conforming to conduct standards
- Be an enabler for the team to drive process improvements
- Ensure effective employee relations
- Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost to achieve positive results in all areas
- Responsible for the effective training, qualification, proficiency, and overall performance management of employees
Requirements:
- Your commitment to being a reliable and punctual team player
- Approximately 3-5 years of production experience in manufacturing roles, having direct reports and shop floor accountability
- Experience with scrap management, safety behaviors, and quality controls increasing site efficiency, employee engagement, and turnover reduction
- Strong leadership skills, adaptability in a dynamic environment, and the ability to establish priorities with a sense of urgency
- Familiar with workforce scheduling, overtime management, and other labor deployment practices
- Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritize between what is urgent and what is important
