Dura-Line is hiring for both Day and Night shift Grinder/Pelletizer Operators in North Salt Lake, UT

BI-WEEKLY SCHEDULES:

Day Shift

Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat

Sun, Wed, Thurs

6:45am - 7:00pm

Night Shift

Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat

Sun, Wed, Thurs

6:45pm - 7:00am

• Only Work 15 DAYS A MONTH!!

• Every Other Weekend is a 3 DAY WEEKEND!!

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean grinding area and dispose waste.

• Complete regrind report tags and identify reprocessed materials.

• Break down empty gaylords.

• Process scrap duct.

• Coordinate with extrusion to move materials to grinding.

• Participate in cycle counts.

• Report unsafe conditions/broken equipment.

• Participate in training, safety, and continuous improvement.

• Other production duties.

• Operate pelletizer machine to convert regrind into pellets

• Operate Forklift consistently

• Unload regrind boxes into pelletizer

• Stage boxes of pellets

• Follows all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements, and reports any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment

• Follows and complies with all company policies and procedures

• Additional duties as required

Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Machine Operator experience preferred

• Ability to speak, read and write in English, Bi-Lingual is a plus

• Ability to recognize colors

• Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills.

• 6 months equipment/machine operation in manufacturing.

• Measuring devices/hand tools/sawzall.

• Able to follow Work Instructions

• Material handling equipment/forklifts.

• Maintain a clean work area

Physical requirements:

• move around obstacles; wear PPE; stand/walk 8-12 hours; lift/move 50 lbs; climb, reach, squat, and bend; temperature/noise exposure.

• Ability to move around obstacles and wear required PPE.

• Ability to stand and walk for 12 hours.

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to climb, reach, squat, and bend.

• Ability to work in environments with temperature variation and noise.

Our Offer:
The compensation for this position is typically start at $22.05/Hour.

• Night shift also includes $1.00/hr. Shift Differential

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
