Assembler- 2nd Shift

Dura-Line is hiring for a 2nd Shift Assembler in Elyria, OH at our Sugar Lane location.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:15pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform product assemblies for couplers and conduits accessories.

• Use hand and power tools to cut and form products.

• Operate machines to shape and attach products.

• Read blueprints and measurements.

• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Participate in continuous improvement and safety activities.

• Verify materials based on the bill of materials.

• Complete paperwork for time and case count.

• 
  Requirements:

• Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills

• At least 1 year of production experience.

• Able to perform assemblies, operate machines, and use hand and power tools.

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math; blueprint reading is a plus.

• Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.

• Physical requirements include: the ability to lift up to 30 lbs with or without reasonable assistance, bend for extended periods, walk and stand on concrete, work in a non-climate-controlled environment and wear required PPE.

Our Offer:
The compensation for this position starts at $16.50/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
