Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized counseling to students in grades 9–11 to support their academic, social, and emotional well-being.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that promote student success and engagement.
Guide students in setting academic goals, planning coursework, and exploring future college and career pathways.
Facilitate classroom lessons on topics such as stress management, study skills, decision-making, and personal development.
Monitor student progress and intervene proactively when concerns arise.
Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies and ethical standards.
Assist in standardized testing day procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Guidance and Special Services.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in School Counseling or a related field required.
Valid state certification/licensure as a School Counselor.
Experience working with high school students, preferably in an independent or private school setting.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Salary Range: $58,000 - $64,000
