Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on trouble shooting of Orascoptic manufactured Medical Devices (e.g. loupe and light systems); determine root-cause and document necessary repair / rework required to bring product back to 100% performance criteria.
- Documentation of repair/rework to be completed in Oracle.
- Updating the complaint record (Q-module) with evaluation findings.
- Interact with various disciplines including engineering, manufacturing, and customer service in a collaborative team environment.
- Follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures including safety and quality.
- Reads, comprehends, and complies with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Manufacturing Instructions (MIs).
- Participates in continuous improvement activities through the Envista Business System (EBS) including Kaizens, 5S events, Standard Work workshops, Kanban, and Kamishibai.

Education And Experience
- High school or equivalent preferred.
- High attention to detail and patience required.
- Versatile and able to work on multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience working with an electronic process for managing and documenting product failure analysis (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Access, Excel)
- Able to understand product applications, specifications, functionality, structure, assembly and test methods/processes
- Excellent analytical skills and good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills
- Constantly uses hands and fingers to perform fine adjustments.
- Constantly sits.
- Occasionally reaches up/down with arms.
